Hair loss, thinning at the crown, or sparse areas along the top of the head can affect anyone, regardless of age or hair texture. Crown coverage systems offer a versatile way to create the appearance of fuller hair while blending seamlessly with your natural hair.

We offer three crown coverage options: Mesh Integration, Meshless Crown Coverage, and Anchored Crown Coverage. Each method is designed to address different levels of thinning, lifestyles, and maintenance preferences.

Because every client's hair loss pattern, density, and goals are unique, a consultation is recommended before selecting a method.

Mesh Integration

Mesh Integration is a customized crown coverage solution designed for clients experiencing moderate to advanced thinning throughout the crown area.

During installation, a lightweight mesh foundation is secured and blended with the client's existing hair. A custom hairpiece is then attached to the mesh to create natural-looking density and coverage.

Benefits of Mesh Integration

  • Suitable for larger areas of thinning

  • Creates the appearance of increased density throughout the crown

  • Allows existing hair to be incorporated into the system

  • Can be customized for various hair textures and densities

  • Pairs well with additional extension rows for length and fullness

Mesh Integration systems are custom ordered and color matched to each client. Because these pieces are customized, special orders typically require approximately 3–4 weeks for arrival.

Meshless Crown Coverage

Meshless Crown Coverage is designed for clients who need coverage at the crown but may not require a full mesh foundation.

This method utilizes a crown piece secured with clips and supported by extension rows placed beneath the crown area. The result is natural-looking coverage with added volume and density.

Benefits of Meshless Crown Coverage

  • No mesh foundation required

  • Provides targeted coverage for thinning areas

  • Creates fullness through both the crown and mid-lengths

  • Can be customized for a variety of hair textures

  • Suitable for clients who still have enough hair to support the installation

Most meshless crown coverage installations include 1–3 rows of hair extensions beneath the crown piece to create balance, fullness, and a seamless blend.

Anchored Crown Coverage

Anchored Crown Coverage is our most temporary crown coverage option.

This method uses a crown piece secured with clips and supported by strategically placed anchor points. It is ideal for clients looking for coverage without committing to a longer-term installation.

Benefits of Anchored Crown Coverage

  • Temporary wear option

  • Ideal for special events or short-term use

  • Provides immediate crown coverage

  • Can be removed and reinstalled as needed

  • Less long-term commitment than other crown systems

Anchored Crown Coverage is typically worn for approximately 3–4 weeks before maintenance is recommended.

Like our other systems, crown pieces can be color matched and specialty ordered to achieve the most natural blend possible.

Custom Hair Matching

All crown coverage systems can be customized to blend with your natural hair color and texture.

Available options may include:

  • Straight textures

  • Relaxed straight textures

  • Kinky straight textures

  • Curly textures

  • Specialty color matching

Custom and specialty orders generally require 3–4 weeks for production and delivery.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps keep your crown coverage system secure and looking its best.

Maintenance options typically include:

Tightening Only

A maintenance appointment focused on tightening and adjusting the existing installation without removing the system.

Remove and Reset

The crown piece and extension rows are fully removed and reinstalled. This service is often recommended periodically to maintain the integrity and appearance of the installation.

The appropriate maintenance schedule will vary based on the method selected, your hair growth, and your lifestyle.

Extension Rows for Added Fullness

For many clients, crown coverage alone addresses thinning at the top but does not add density throughout the rest of the hair.

To create a more balanced result, 1–3 rows of extensions are commonly installed along with the crown piece. These rows help create additional fullness, improve blending, and enhance overall volume.

Schedule a Consultation

Choosing the right crown coverage method depends on several factors, including the amount of thinning present, your desired level of coverage, lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and styling goals.

A consultation allows us to evaluate your hair, discuss available options, and determine which crown coverage system is the best fit for your needs. During your consultation, we can also discuss color matching, custom ordering, expected maintenance, and pricing.
